In 'The Haunting of Hill House', set in 1992, Olivia and Hugh Crain (Carla Gugino and Henry Thomas) buy Hill House, a dilapidated manor in need of refurbishment. Along with their five children, they quickly realise that the house is not all it seems and, after being subjected to a terrifying ordeal, they flee the property. Years later, the family reunite and realise the impact that Hill House had on each of their lives. As she settles in and acquaints herself with the children and her fellow staff members, Dani endures a ghastly ordeal as she slowly uncovers the manor's dark history.
