It's been six months since Amaranth and the Dark Lander attack. Life in Washington, D.C., is starting to move on. There's even a bill floating around Congress to give Preterhumans rights equal to humans. It's a good time to be a Preterhuman in the city... if you ignore the attacks that are going on. Lizzy Drake, the half-vampire part of Murdock Investigations, the only private investigative agency in the Greater D.C. area run by Preterhumans for Preterhumans, is looking into who would dare attack a goddess.
