This book offers an original state of the art update on trust research in education by sampling the current diversity in conceptual approach, measurement and explored determinants and outcomes of trust. It outlines new and emerging pathways to explore the phenomenon of trust and makes clear the significance of trust relationships within the context of educational settings for the quality of school life. It shows that trust merits continued attention of both scholars and practitioners because it paves the way to progress toward equity and excellence in education.
