Abraham must chose his own path; will he put his faith in the Oracle men, Jujus and gods of the past, or will he embrace the Anglican religion adopted by his well-respected Uncle Meme? In attempting to reconcile the pulls of the past and the future, Abraham fails to appease either the Nigerian God of Thunder or the Christian God Almighty, and so his tragic tale unfolds.
