Noah Morgan Smith, age 14, is adopted by Harlan County, Kentucky sheriff J. Bert Sterling and his wife Carolyn. Noah is discovered to have a remarkable God-given ability to shoot a basketball and always make the goal, he never misses. He leads the Harlan Green Dragon basketball team to win the state championship as he gains popularity to rival that of Harlan's Wah-Wah Jones, Dick Parsons, and Cawood Ledford. But Noah is plunged unknowingly into a devious scheme by the North Korea Supreme Leader trying to achieve basketball supremacy and publicity for himself and North Korea. The novel contains numerous twists, is filled with lots of mountain humor and stories,  and has many of the same characters as were in the author's previous nine novels. One reader proclaimed the story very entertaining, another said she loved it. The strange ending will leave you with a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your heart.
