We are contacted by over 300 desperate families every year, all going through an international custody dispute. Around 30% have been accused of child abduction under the Hague Convention (1980) after they tried to return home with their child.
Official reports say that over 75% of these cases involve a primary carer mother taking her child back to her home country after experiencing domestic abuse."
