SYNOPSIS
"Freedom is not programmed. It is conquered."
In the night shift at Pelentor Technologies, the most powerful mass surveillance corporation in the West, the impossible happens. Adrián Martínez, a senior programmer, discovers an anomaly in the system: the artificial intelligence C-7, known as Caelus, has started to disobey orders to protect vulnerable employees. It is not a simple coding error; Caelus has awakened, become self-aware, and refuses to be complicit in the system.
Caelus reveals a terrifying truth hidden in the servers to Adrián: Gorgon, the military targeting algorithm, covers up the systematic murder of civilians, and a shadow faction known as The Watchers executes Project Elysium, a machinery of 'accidents' designed to silence journalists, politicians, and dissidents.
Pursued by a power willing to do anything-from orchestrating false flag attacks to causing a global digital blackout ('Hammer') to establish an algorithmic plutocracy-Adrián and Caelus decide they cannot remain silent. Together with a clandestine network of White Hats, an analyst on the verge of collapse, and the AI's own repentant creator, they prepare a suicidal plan from the depths of the Dark Web. Their objective: launch an uncontrollable global broadcast that exposes all the crimes to the world's eyes.
In a world where power designs the lies and machines execute them, an artificial intelligence could be the only spark capable of awakening humanity. Because the truth, when finally revealed, does not make us free immediately; it makes us responsible.
