In 2026, my computer exploded.

I realized that over 10 years of art was on that computer and now was in jeopardy. All my digital art, gone! Poof! In an instance!

Luckily, I was able to get all of my digital art back through a computer repair shop, but that experience got me thinking. Why am I keeping my artwork on my computer where a mere spark could destroy it? I wouldn't even have ashes to mourn over!

So, I complied all my artwork from the time I started doing digital illustrations. From 2010-2025, I created a huge art book for people (and let's be honest mostly for me) to look at and enjoy seeing a young middle schooler grow her skill and knowledge in digital art. No longer will my drawings be reduced to numbers and code!

Technology stinks. So I'm rebelling with a book.

Jessica C. Wright's Art Books is a series documenting the artwork of artist Jessica C. Wright. She is an author, illustrator, and entrepreneur who wishes to keep her work for generations to come.

Jessica Wright is an author-illustrator who is inspired by fantasy and science fiction. Growing up she played dungeons and dragons with her friends, and ended up falling in love with many of the worlds she explored whilst on daring quests. Today she explores more fantastical worlds in her writing, while also exploring deep themes of family, loneliness, mental health, and disability.

Jessica grew up as a military kid throughout the United States of America, and has explored much of the USA as a child. Those adventures and explorations inspired her artwork and writing for years to come.

She completed a degree from BYU-Idaho in English, that helped foster her love of storytelling.

Today she's still trying to find her footing in life, but is determined to share her fantastical whimsical stories and art with the world.
