This work presents a review of rotordynamics and bearings (focusing in aerostatic bearings) based on Chiarelli (2014). During the chapters the analytical and numerical models are presented in order to teach to the reader how to approach problems involving static and dynamic characterization and prediction of rotor assemblies.
