Radio technology refers to the technology that is concerned with the use of radio waves to carry information. Radio systems operate by using a combination of a transmitter, an antenna and a receiver. Such systems work within the frequency range between 3 kHz and 300 GHz. The transmitter modulates some aspect of the energy such as frequency, amplitude or phase to impress a signal on it.
