Interest in the interface of psychology and§spirituality has been burgeoning. Furthermore, a§significant number of people experience conflict§related to their religion or distress associated with§their spirituality. Many of these people seek§psychotherapy for these problems to assist them with§gaining understanding and healing. Thus, empirical§investigation for how to successfully approach,§assess, and treat religious or spiritual problems is§needed.
