The story of Oliver the dragonfly is a story of lessons, friendships, love, and teamwork. Since the early stages of Oliver's consciousness when he was just a nymph inside his egg attached to a lotus flower on the edge of a lake, he already felt he knew everything there was to know of the outside world. Oliver ran in place inside his egg but had no idea how running would turn into flying once he hatched from his larvae egg. After he emerged from the murkiness of the lake, he discovered everything he thought he knew of the world was not as easy as he imagined. But because of all of Oliver's inherited traits, he was able to overcome challenges that others would have met defeat. He brought on adventures that would cause interactions that would make different kinds of friendships he thought he would never have. His adventures made him learn hard lessons of the dangers of life. He also discovered a courage and a strength he never knew he possessed.
