Rapid population growth, deforestation, urbanization, depleting surface and groundwater resources, along with global warming has led to diminishing water resources worldwide. This books brings together sustainable and advanced technologies for the effective removal of aquatic pollutants, such as toxic heavy metals, micropollutants and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
