Have It! is the story of a little boy named Zachee and his mother's journey around their island home, and their discovery that there are many things in life that they cannot have. Fortunately, they find something even better that they will have to enjoy always, their love for each other and the beauty of the world right before them, as they take the time to stop, listen, and look for it. About the Author Originally from Alabama, Susannah Gray is an educator living in the Marshall Islands, a tropical paradise in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. She published two other children's books, Alligators Coming! and Gotta See Nathan! Her children, Zach and Nathan, changed her life and inspired her to write because of all their cute "kidisms," incredible imaginations, infectious laughter, and the ability they have to find joy in the seemingly most insignificant parts of life. About the Illustrator Originally from New Mexico, Denise Dorn has been living on a small island in the Pacific for the past ten years. As a young girl, she began to explore the art of batik, which allows endless exploration of color and design on fabric.
