We live in a time of dramatic change. Astonishing advances in travel and communications are transforming the ways we can, should, and must relate to one another. Many people have responded to these changes with a forceful return to traditional values and defense against outside influences, often seen as immoral and dangerous. It provides a theoretical and experiential framework that will aid spiritual professionals, educators and laity, from any faith tradition, to understand the foundational theology of Islam.
