This Dance On Purpose Ballet Talk Glossary and Reference Guide started out more than 10 years ago as a learning wheel for my students, it then morphed into a "mini book" called Ballet-On-the Go which I gave out to my students and was sold and distributed in dance shops in Boise, Idaho. Then, together with my parents, principal ballet dancers Brunilda Ruiz and Paul Sutherland, I came up with more ballet facts and advice to share. Mom helped me translate it into Spanish as it is our heritage and thus seemed to be a natural progression. This is my passion project, I hope you, the reader, enjoy it as much as I have making it happen. - Mhari T. Wilson
