Maternal grief is a complex and profoundly impactful experience, marked by emotional, social, and existential suffering resulting from the loss of a child. In addition to severing bonds and shattering expectations, this experience is often socially invisible. In this context, the home environment takes on particular significance because it is a repository of memories, emotions, and experiences related to the child's presence. Thus, drawing on Health Psychology and Environmental Psychology, this study seeks to understand how bereaved mothers experience and interpret the space of their home after the loss of a child.
