My life has been an amazing journey of survival and challenges in a world of political oppression, fear, poverty, and violence. Born in East Berlin, not long after WWII, life was at best tolerable. Living conditions, work, personal space, and freedom were increasingly restricted, and life in East Berlin became ever more difficult. In 1961, life, as I knew it, changed dramatically. It is about this moment in history when the world stopped breathing in horror as a nation was torn apart. It is here where my story begins. I want to share with you this part of my history, this part of my life that remains the most valuable and influential. As I reflect on the years past, I have realized that my worst day is still a million times better than someone else's best day ever, and that in the most desperate situations, my greatest strength is innate and can always be awakened. And if I can do it, so can you!
This awareness has been the foundation of my work as a life coach, mentor, and motivational speaker. I want you to know that "All is Well...Always!" and that when you adopt and develop an "Attitude of Gratitude", your world and the world around you will reflect that, and we, as a society, can live in peace and harmony with one another.
